Introduction

Books are our best friends. The book is regarded as the only best friend in the world who never betrays. Books are the best medium for education. From the ancient days, books remain a popular and most convenient mode of acquiring knowledge. Book reading is a good habit. Everyone should cultivate this habit, especially students.

Books are not only read by the student and young, rather it is for everyone. Anyone can read books. Before the invention of the printing machine, books were written by hands only. Hence there were not many books then.
After the invention of the printing machine, books have come out in large numbers. Normally, it is regarded that books are now so common that the world has been overburdened with books. This is the opinion of a great French philosopher.

• Technical books - giving you technical insight.
• Novels - distract your world, raise your imagination and relax.
• Adult coloring book - relax, art therapy.
• Religious, Spiritual, political, health care books - for obvious reasons.
• Comic - enjoyment. Relax 

There are now many classes and sub-classes of books available in the market. Hence, we find prose, poetry, and drama. In prose, we find essays, fiction, novel, short story and so on. In poetry, we find epic, sonnet, lyric, ballad, musical poem and so on. In drama, we find one-act play, multi-act play, dramas for reading dramas for staging and so on.
Different books deal with different subjects. There are books on literature, politics, science, philosophy, and ethics.
There are also professional books for the men of the profession and the course books of the students. There are books for fun and humor. There are amateur readers and readers for serious study.

Choice of books

Everyone has a different taste of books. The choices of books differ from person to person. So, it is important a book which suits the most. It is said that the world is full of different types of books. One cannot read all the books in his lifetime and also all the books are not worth reading.
Hence, the choice of books is very important for us. Therefore, we should approach the advice of learned men to choose the books for study.

Usefulness of books

If you believe books can change your life. No matter which types of books you use to read, it is always to help you to gain your awareness and wisdom, book reading is a habit & best think about the pattern you can build it. The usefulness of books can never be challenged.

Voltaire, a French Philosopher said in the 18th century, " Books rule the world", and he is right. Books are our never-failing friend. Books are our friends, philosopher, and guide. Books are mightier than weapons and than atom bombs too. Books are the store-house of knowledge. We have many problems in our life. While reading books we come across the solution to our problems.
