Short essay on school life

Introduction

I am a student in high school. I read in class 10th. My life at my school is very energetic and full of excitement, I enjoy a lot. On working days, I go to school. On holidays I stay at home. Especially, in the months of summer, my school sits in the morning hour. During other months it sits in the day time. Generally, the school works for six hours in normal days with an interval of thirty minutes after the first four periods.

Description

During school days, I go to school on time. I join the prayer class where I sing a divine song with all other students. After the prayer is over, I sit in my class along with my other friends. Different teachers come to my class to teach different subjects, such as English, Mathematics, History, Literature, Geography and Science and so on.

I become delighted in the periods of English and History as I am fond of these subjects. But I am unhappy in the periods of Mathematics and Geography as I am weak in them. However, I try my best to follow the teaching guide and do my best in other subjects. But in the Drill-class and the N.C.C. class, I fell very smart and active.

Schene during recess-hour

The recess is scheduled in our school after the first four periods. It begins at 1:30 P.M and ends at 2 P.M. Hence, it lasts for half an hour. The scene during the recess hour is a scene of mirth and merriment. Students burst into great rejoicing after three hour's confinement inside the classroom.
During the recess, students move about.
They move in groups and chat among themselves. They also move in twos and threes. Some students stand before school notice-board.
Some purchase tiffin from a bakery man seated near the school gate. Some gather around the wireless receiver and listen on the radio. The little boys divide themselves into several groups and play Swingball and Kabadi.

Inside the Teachers Common Room, some teachers are found reading newspapers, some are busy in their mobile phone, Some are seen forwarding applications.
When the bell rings everything comes to normal, it is the end of the recess.

On the days of school festivals

School festivals are a memorable one. Such days are the days of joy and happiness. The festival days are Ganesh Puja, Saraswati Puja, Independence Day, Republic Day, Teacher's Day and Children's Day and many more.
I feel a great joy to participate in all these festivals. Besides these functions, I feel great pride in the prize-giving ceremony. Because I win a lot of prize in sports. Debating and social service and Drama is another attraction for me.

Conclusion

My life at school is full of pleasure. In it, study and play go together hand-in-hand. Hence, I like it the most. I spend a happy life with my classmates. I never quarrel with them. With them, I make picnics and go on excursions. I play football, volleyball, cricket, and other sports with them. Overall my school life is the best life.
