Preface

Christmas, a Christian holiday honoring the birth of Jesus, has developed into a worldwide religious and secular celebration, with festivities including many pre-Christian and pagan traditions. Christmas is a great celebration of joy and happiness. It is celebrated every year on 25 December in the winter season on the occasion of the birthday of Lord Isha (the founder of Christianity). This day is celebrated as Christmas Day to pay tribute and respect to Lord Isha.

Throughout Christmas, people celebrate by dancing, singing, partying and having dinner outside the whole day. It is celebrated by people of all religions, especially by the Christian community. On this day, everyone wears colorful clothes and has a lot of fun. Everyone congratulates each other by saying "Merry Christmas" and giving gifts to each other's home. Christians pray for their Lord Jesus, they all accept God to erase their mistakes and sins.

Christmas Preparation

About a month in advance, Christians start preparing for this festival. On this day, we clean the house, office, church, etc. Potting and decorating with paper and natural flowers, painting, putting a flag on the wall. Markets are also decorated to look attractive and we can see that the market is filled with Christmas cards, beautiful glasses, gifts, scenery, toys, etc. People decorate the Christmas tree in the middle of their homes and make it shiny and beautiful with lots of gifts such as chocolates, candies, balloons, dolls, birds, flowers, lights, etc.

Singing songs and exchange gifts among friends, relatives, and neighbors. On this day people organize a big banquet in which everyone is welcomed with delicious dishes. After the feast, everyone swings to the song and music and sings songs at night. It is a festival of great enthusiasm and joy which is celebrated with fun all over the world.
